About Me
Hi guys, my name is Yankai Feng who is a 22 years old man from China and I am currently studying for a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Toronto, St. George campus.
Since I enjoy applying data to the real world, so my interest generally lies in developing statistical methods for economics and environment such as time series data analysis, machine learning. Meanwhile, I have always been very concerned about some social issues like left-behind children, so I joined Chinese Children Hope Offered to do my part to help them.
In my life, I also have a wide range of interests, such as travelling, photography, table tennis and cooking. I really enjoy the serenity of the cooking process and the satisfaction of tasting the fruits of my work. In addition, taking photos can help me to leave beautiful sights and memories. Life is very short, and every experience is a unique memory in the future.
Finally, I am trying to expand my horizon and experiences to strive for opportunities to become a data scientist. Of course, during this process, I would also persist in pursuing my interest and enjoying life.
